How to buy discount presale tickets: Mail checks and list of names to Christian Singles Newsletter, PO Box 8487 Stockton, CA 95208. Allow three days your check to reach us. We will keep your names on a list with the cashier. Then identify yourself when you arrive.

From Walnut Creek: take Hwy. 680 north across bridge to Hwy 780 to Benicia. Take the first exit, East 5th Street, and go left, then ….

Follow East 5th St. downhill about 2 miles almost to water. Turn right at East E St., go 1/2 mile, then left on E. 2nd St. and go about 75 yards to the clubhouse on the left. You can park at the gravel parking lot across the street but you may need to drive around the block to the entrance.

From Vacaville / Sacramento: I-80 to Vallejo & switch to Hwy. 780 to Benicia. Exit at East 5th St. Go right on E. 5th St. then next follow directions above titled “Follow E. 5th St. downhill”.

From Stockton: Take I-5 north about 10 miles and exit onto Hwy 12 going to Fairfield. Go about 40 miles to Fairfield/ Suisun. Merge onto I-80 and go west about three miles towards the Bay Area. Then switch onto Hwy 680 and go south about 12 miles (towards San Jose). Next merge to the right onto Hwy 780 going to Benicia/ Vallejo. Go 2/3 mile & take first exit, 5th St. & go left. Then use directions above titled “Follow E. 5th St. downhill”.

NOTE ABOUT DIRECTIONS: Don’t confuse East and West 5^th and 2^nd Streets. Benicia has both a W. 5th and an E. 5^th street. You want to exit at EAST 5th and the hall is on EAST 2nd.

Social Mixer from 7 to 7:45 – make new friends and see old ones. (It’s a little like speed dating, but without the emphasis on dating).

Good casual dress suggested.

* The music will be mainly secular rock 'n roll.

* The ages range from the 30's to the 70's

* Enjoy our nonalcoholic atmosphere

* Light, basic snacks included

* Sodas can be purchased from the hall. (Punch is not included)

PARKING & CARPOOLING: Please carpool if you can. The gravel parking lot at the base of the hill is no longer available. So parking might be tight. If the main lot is full, you can park in the residential area further up the hill on Newell Ave.

DIRECTIONS to Los Gatos Elks at 105 Newell Ave., 95032:

* From Hayward & San Jose: Take Hwy 880 across San Jose as it becomes Hwy. 17 to Los Gatos. Exit at Lark Ave. See LARK EXIT below for next step.

* From Peninsula (Palo Alto) Take Hwy. 101 south to Hwy. 85 to Los Gatos. From Hwy 85 exit at Winchester and turn right onto Winchester. Go a few blocks and then turn right on Newell, then immediately left into driveway that goes up the hill to the hall. Note that Newell is a small cross-street 20 yards before the stoplight at Winchester and Lark. (If you reach the stoplight turn around and go back 20 yards).

* From the South (Morgan Hill): take 101 north to Hwy. 85 to 17. Then take Hwy 17 southwest towards Santa Cruz about 1 mile. Exit at Lark. See LARK EXIT below for next step.

* From Sacramento: Take I-80 to Fairfield. After Fairfield, but before Vallejo, switch onto Hwy. 680 going towards Walnut Creek / San Jose. Follow directions below.

* From Walnut Creek: Take Hwy. 680 south to San Jose. In San Jose, Hwy. 680 changes name to Hwy. 280. In San Jose, switch from Hwy 280 onto Hwy. 17 going towards Santa Cruz and Los Gatos. Go roughly 10 miles and exit at Lark Ave.

AT LARK AVE EXIT: Go right on Lark. Follow it one half mile to Winchester. Turn right at Winchester, go 20 yards and make an immediate left onto Newell Ave. (Newell is a small cross- street). Go ten yards and turn left again into the driveway that goes up a small hill to the hall. The hall is very near the corner of Winchester and Newell. (When you reach the intersection of Lark and Winchester, you can see the hall just across the street on a hill).
